Nice! I remember how, despite the relatively small amount of blood, that scene seemed a bit disturbing to me because it felt so realistic (in part because there isn't an exaggerate amount of blood), you didn't really see stuff like that in video games back then and you still don't, really. Usually it's big gushing clouds of blood. But here, it looked like a real injury, you could almost feel it yourself.
Still kinda wish they'd waited until the parade fight for Seifer and Squall to scar one-another, I think it would have added extra weight and meaning to it.
